I have been engaged in many different activities on the Internet over the past fourteen years. As of this writing, I am still involved in SFF Net (where you will find some of my poetry) and the Science Fiction Poetry Association, for which I volunteered for three years as the Website coder. And, I maintained a site for our local Friends (Quaker) meeting until it was laid down early in 2010.
Since 1984, when I quit my IT job with a regional bank, I have worked as a freelance editor, writer, and, off and on, a typist, doing business as The Written Word. I am not doing nearly as much manuscript or academic style editing, these days, preferring to concentrate on writing cover letters and resumes for people. The job search work always has been the most enjoyable aspect of my job.
I also sell or license the occasional photo. Currently, my photo art work is available for purchase through RedBubble.com. If you see any of my photos that you would like to buy as a greeting card, postcard, or print, let me know. I most likely will be able to add it to my RedBubble gallery for you to buy.
During 2009 NaNoWriMo, in lieu of writing a novel, I attempted to write a poem a day for the month. Currently, they are at The Art of the Moment. You might enjoy a visit to the 2009 Science Fiction Poetry Association Halloween Poetry Reading, where you'll find audio recordings of SFPA members reading their own Halloween-themed poems. 2009 was my fourth year coordinating the event, initiated and guided by Karen Romanko, former SFPA V.P.
