In autumn, in this drought year, the hollyhocks and other garden flowers have dried up, but a few wildflowers have hung on. There are
bindweed (Orchard morning-glory), dandelion and false dandelion, and lots of thistle flowers to attract the wasps to our yard. We also have
a wasps nest behind our concrete front steps.
